Shipping Information and Policies
At the REAL Canadian Bacon Co., we understand how important it is that your packages arrive promptly. Below, you will find answers to common questions about our shipping policies and rates.
the REAL Canadian Bacon Co. uses plenty of engineered refrigerant and a reusable, insulated cooler to ensure your products arrive in excellent condition. Several options are available for delivery of your package. You will be presented with these options during the second step while placing your order. Please note that you will know your full order total, including shipping costs, before making a final commitment to purchase.
Your product when received should be frozen or at minimum cool to the touch (products are shipped frozen and may temper out in transit - amount of tempering is based upon shipping option selected). If product is not cool to the touch, call or email us immediately. Otherwise keep your products in your refrigerator for approximately two weeks or re-freeze at your discretion for approximately one year.
Shipping and handling rates for REAL Canadian Bacon are based on the method of shipping selected, and are applied per the following table:

What are my shipping options?
the REAL Canadian Bacon Co. offers three levels of delivery service within the United States:
- Standard Delivery - Your package will arrive in approximately 7 to 25 business days. This economical method helps lower shipping costs by allowing us to sequence orders in the early days of the week. That way, orders can make it to far distances by Friday. We recommend Standard Delivery.
- Expedited Delivery - Your package will arrive in 2 to 5 business days. Shipments are sent out Monday through Wednesday, after that they are held until the next week.
- Priority One Service - Next business day delivery. Shipments are made Monday through Thursday, after that they are held until the next week.
To ensure that your packages are shipped in the most efficient manner, we use only quality shippers like United Parcel Service or Federal Express. Once your order has shipped from our warehouse, a confirmation e-mail will be sent, indicating the tracking number for your package.

How are my shipping charges calculated? How much will it be?
Shipping charges are based on the subtotal of merchandise ordered, and are applied based on the method of shipping you have selected.

When can I expect to receive my package? What is your shipping schedule?
the REAL Canadian Bacon Co. processes orders received before noon Eastern time the same business day. Orders received after noon are processed the next business day and then shipped based on the method you selected. To preserve product quality, Standard Delivery shipments are made at the beginning of the week for delivery that same week. Expedited Delivery and Priority One Shipping are made Monday-Wednesday and Monday-Thursday, respectively.

Please understand that while REAL Canadian Bacon makes every attempt at timely delivery, circumstances may occasionally delay shipment of product. See "What's wrong?" below for further details.
Since a delivery signature is not required for release of your shipment, we recommend delivery to an address where the recipient will be available to receive your package.
Does REAL Canadian Bacon service international locations?
Currently, we only ship to addresses within the United States.
What if I want to ship to a P.O. or M.P.O. box?
Unfortunately, UPS delivery is not available to P.O. or M.P.O. (Military Post Office) boxes. Therefore, we cannot ship orders to addresses of this type.
To which US states does REAL Canadian Bacon ship?
REAL Canadian Bacon can be shipped anywhere within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.

Because of our commitment to serving only the highest quality Canadian peameal bacon, circumstances may occasionally occur that will delay receipt of your order. While the REAL Canadian Bacon Co. will make every effort to get your shipment to you by your desired date, we cannot guarantee the timely arrival of your package. To reduce the possibility of a late arrival, we encourage you to shop early!
